I attended an end of year ceremony at Mansfield Christian recently in which each of the students — grades 3-6 — received certificates of academic achievement, of course, but also a designated character trait, a special indication of the unique gift God had given each, as well as the way each reflected their gift.

I think that is wonderful and pointed out that while students have similar goals in class, each will approach things in their own way.

I got to thinking what my character trait would have been at that age, recognizing that I was quite a character back then.

They could have labeled me humble, because I am the most humble person I know, and I let people know that.
